So the frame rate is important for running FSX smoothly?

No sense in re-explaining stuff that's been well documented before. Go read these webpages:

I think you still have no idea what frame rate is...

I'll put it simply...
If your sim is running smoothly, the frame rates are high.
If it's a slideshow, the frame rates are low.

Ever pressed CTRL-Z to see your FPS? (pressing multiple times gives other information too)

Don't listen to them. They suck. Bigtime. They're only here to stir up ... things. Framerates are for losers only! Who needs framerates when they have ... stuff?

Will it disable my autopilot altitude handling? By the way, I'm taking IT course at college and maybe create another AI model for FS community.

You can find the answer very quickly by starting up FS and trying it out for yourself.

There's a lot of things you can find by doing your own testing, rather than rushing to this forum and asking: "If I press button "X" will it affect "Y"?

Press "X" for yourself and find out.

There you go again. Why are you asking if Shift+Z will display framerates, when you could just go try it and see?

Freed is incorrect about CTRL+X, it only removes all FS installations except for FSX. :D

Let me get this straight: you don't know about the pertinence of frame rates, but want to build an AI model?
